Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!
H/T to Blackfive for the link to this good article in USAToday (of all strange places) on a Marine marksman in Ramadi.
The most interesting part is that he pegs his Catholic faith to his mission. As a practicing Catholic, I say AMEN! Wanton killing like, say, strapping bombs to teenagers and sending them into marketplaces to kill civilians, is no part of religion. Defending yourself and your fellow men against wanton killing is something entirely different.
I cherish a secret hope that one day, the Church will recognize what is going on and give a greater voice to the cause of civilization over savagery. Remember the Knights of St John? And what of the good old, head-bashing saints like Spain's patron-- St James the Moor Slayer?
