May Day! May Day! May Day!
(sorry, i tried to post this the other night but blogger didn't cooperate. and i see, much to my delight, that some politicians are getting the word...)
May Day! May Day! May Day! That's the old distress call. I think it's entirely appropriate for this day, 1 May 2006.
So, the illegals protested. No surprise, they said they were going to do it, and they did it. I just saw a report on Fox News, and the reporter (in Denver) said, "You've got to think that the politicians here at the state capitol are hearing the protestors and their message..." or words to that effect.
Note to Colorado politicians, and to politicians everywhere. THEY protest. WE vote. THEY are lawbreakers. WE are citizens. THEY don't rate a say in this country's affairs. WE do. DID YOU HEAR THAT??
Unbelievable. Time to write the elected officials again.
